Vadodara (Baroda), Narmada and Laxmi Vilas Palace Tour Itinerary
Day 1
Arrive at designated reporting place report to coach and proceed to hotel. Vadodara derives its native name from the Sanskrit word vatodara, meaning 'in the heart of the Banyan (Vata) tree. It also has another name, Virakshetra or Virawati i.e. land of warriors. This city serves the best education, food and also famous for its rich heritage of the Maratha Emperors.
Day 2
Today proceed to Pavagadh, visit Kalikamata temple. While returning visit Champaner – Pavagadh Archaeological Park and UNESCO World Heritage Site
Day 3
Morning Proceed to Statue of Unity. En-route visit Garudeshwar Temple dedicated to lord Datta. This temple has a spiritual importance and it is also falls on the Narmada Parikram route. Visit SardarSarovar Dam, enjoy boat ride in Narmada River to get a thrilling experience of viewing world's tallest statue. Later arrive at Statue of Unity to visit "Iron Man of India", the world's tallest statue at 187 meters of SardarVallabhbhai Patel. Experience stunning view from Observatory deck. Also explore Museum and audio visual gallery, Valley of Flowers and Light and Sound Show at statue of Unity (Subject to operation). Arrive at Vadodara in the evening
Day 4
Today proceed to local sightseeing of Vadodara. Visit Vadodara Museum Picture Gallery followed by a visit to Laxmi Vilas Palace and Fateh Singh Palace where we get to see the paintings of Raja Ravi Varma, Evening photo-stop at Sursagar Lake and free time for shopping at the local Market.
Day 5
Board the train / flight to your hometown
